In reviewing Fun with Language’s CD, Fun with Sleep, Songs for the Rocking Chair, Sara Butler, MT-BC (Music Therapist Board Certified) and Elementary School Teacher says,"The tempos of the pieces are appropriate for achieving a state of relaxation and eventually sleep. The music imposes a rhythmic framework that provides order and structure for bedtime. The resting child’s heart rate will
eventually match the tempo of the music assisting them in relaxing, remaining calm, and sleeping; while at the same time exposing them to wonderful pieces of music. Fun with Teachers - Music for the Classroom, Butler says, is a wonderful compilation of classical selections that are very well suited for creating an environment of focus and concentration in the classroom. As a music therapist
and educator, I would definitely incorporate this CD into my daily routines with the clients and students with which I work.

The Benefits of Classical Music for Children
Researchers from St John's University found that three-month-old infants learned to move an overhead crib mobile when one of two works of music was played. When the mobile's stand was attached to an ankle by a ribbon, the babies quickly realized that they could "make music" by kicking. This pattern suggests that music can help with one of an infant's most important tasks, remembering new information!
Children take to music naturally. Musical sounds are among the first stimuli an infant responds to, and toddlers instinctively weave music into their activities. Musical activities provide children with important experiences that can help them develop memory, visual and language skills.
A stimulating environment -- one that is rich with music and language has a long-lasting impact on a person's entire life. Classical music may aid in developing memory. Most importantly, memory recall improves when the same music played during learning is played during recall.
Exposure to classical music during the early pivotal development stages has been shown to have a measured positive effect on the development of a child's spatial skills and in the development of analytical thinking in general.
The physical benefits of early childhood music are outstanding also. Fine and gross motor skills can be improved through improvisational dancing and handling of musical instruments. Vocal and speech development can improve through singing. Listening skills and concentration improve with aural training, as are the old-fashioned goals of sharing and cooperation.
Music can be calming or invigorating, it can grab your attention or provide a pleasant background. Isn't it amazing that such a wide range of moods can be expressed in a single genre of music - classical music!
We provide your child with ideal musical stimulation in our two CD’s packed with classical compositions that relax and inspire while effectively preparing your child for learning.
There is an underlying awareness that the earlier music is introduced, the more potential the child has for learning.
